This session is designed to provide attorneys and service providers with practical legal knowledge, constitutional grounding, and actionable strategies to better protect individual rights and support communities during periods of intensified enforcement.

Immigration Enforcement One Year into Administration
What we are seeing on the ground after a year of expanded federal enforcement, including priorities, interagency coordination, and impacts on mixed-status families and rural communities.

Fourth Amendment Rights in Practice
How constitutional protections against unlawful searches and seizures are being tested in heightened enforcement contexts, including home encounters, traffic stops, workplace actions, and collaboration with local agencies.

Rapid Response & Community Preparedness
Practical guidance for attorneys, service providers, and community members on developing personal and family rapid response plans, including documentation, emergency planning, and lawful ways to respond when rights are violated.

Representatives from the Law Office of Carol Edward and the Skagit County Public Defender's Office will be the presenters.
