Swinomish Legal Clinic
Any Swinomish tribal community members can meet with an attorney and law student about a variety of civil legal issues, including but not limited to the following:
Family (Divorce, Parenting Plan, Child or Spousal Support)
Housing (Real Property, Landlord/Tenant, Mobile Homes)
Advanced Planning (Powers of Attorneys, Wills, and Estates)
Forfeitures
Exclusion Defense or Modification
Post Conviction Support (Waiving/Reducing Legal Financial Obligations and Vacating Convictions, Driver’s Licenses)
Debt (Medical Debt, Consumer Debt Collection, Small Claims, Bankruptcy)
General Civil (Non-Criminal) Legal Issues
This Clinic is a collaboration between Skagit Legal, the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community, and the Northwest Center for Indigenous Law at Seattle University School of Law.
Clients can walk-in on the day of the clinic or call (360) 230-8101 to pre-register.
